Chuck Same thing I’ve been doing for weeks, helping. Helping you to the bunker to Sam, to romance. It was easy really, just a nudge here, a conveniently placed spell there …. Flashback to Rowena’s flat when the spell falls out of the book.

Chuck It wasn’t all me Sam, I just gave you half the spell. You did the rest all on your own… which I knew you would… because you’re such a good guy

Chuck Because I couldn’t see you. I needed eyes and ears on the inside. Well ,eyes anyway.

Chuck Yeah. I hate missing my favourite show
Sam So I was right, you’re weak
Chuck Well, I wouldn’t say weak, exactly. I mean I pignatad hell but yeah you figured it out, we’re connected by these wounds. Points to him and Sam. Which, annoying right? As long as we are, I’m stuck in this world… but you know what they say.. holding a scalpel…. All good things must come to an end!
TITLE CARD
In the bunker Cas is making Borax bullets and Dean is on the phone.

Back at the Casino. Chuck brandishing the scalpel
Chuck Our wounds aren’t healing properly because of you. It’s as if there is something festering inside of you. Something that won’t let go. He rips Sam’s shirt off his shoulder. I can’t see it, I can’t snap it away but I know it’s there.

Dean tracking Sam’s phone. Ok, here we go…Er Milford Nebraska, a casino. What the hell is Chuck doing in a casino? Whatever, we need to go!
Cas To purgatory

Back at the Casino and Sam realises Chuck is stalling

Back at the casino Chuck plays guitar while Eileen digs into the wound and Sam screams
Sam gentle voice looking at Eileen. Its ok, its ok, I know it’s not you. It’s not working. I’m gonna die in this chair Chuck cos you’ll keep cutting until I bleed out and.. That’s cos you don’t know what else to do .. what then Chuck? You just bring me back and try again

Chuck how do I put this to you Sam? Your hope is misplaced. Now I’m not saying you can’t win. I mean if you stay firm and dean and cas don’t screw up their part, with the exact right roll of the dice.. you could, but what I’m saying is… you don’t want to. Chuck claps his hands together and we’re in April 17th 2020 in the bunker. Sam sees Sam and Eileen at the table, Dean dozing in an armchair and Cas bringing beers.

Jody shell shocked and bloody sat in her police car. Sam… it was just supposed to be a little nest, maybe 3 vampires. I went in armed to the teeth but there were… so…many…more. She’s dead, Sam, Claire’s dead.
