This might have been to show passage of time between [[Chuck]] coming to [[the Bunker]], and the rescue operation for [[Lucifer]]/[[Castiel]]. However, the words of the newscaster just before [[Metatron]] pauses it indicates that it has indeed only been a matter of days.
