The Faravahar is the symbol best associated with Zoroastrianism. It represents the principles of Zartosht: "Good thoughts, good words and good deeds."

Zoroastrianism

An ancient Iranian religion with similarities to the faiths of Northern India and the Viking religions of Northern Europe. The monotheistic religion focuses on one central god: Ahura Mazda. Ahura Mazda is said to be the beginning and the end and the creator of everything. The religion can be summed up in one simple phrase “Good thoughts, good words, good deeds.”
