Wayward: The Documentary
From Super-wiki
Wayward: The Documentary is a film made by Alana King in 2018. She describes it as follows:
- Wayward. What is Wayward? The truth is, it's a lot of things. It's a movement. It's a feeling. It's embracing your true self. And now, it's a spinoff of a popular TV show. In this documentary, I attempted to get behind how the spinoff came to be, why it's important for diversity and representation in the media, and what the future looks like for the potential show.
- This is a collaboration of so many creative, beautiful minds. So, a huge thank you to Kim Rhodes, Rachel Miner, Lynn Zubernis, Shelley Harper, Scout Villegas, Michelle Jose, and Creation Entertainment. Of course, a huge thank you also to the fans whose photo ops, artwork, and pictures were shared in this video. Without all of these people, this documentary wouldn't have happened.
- And to the Wayward ladies: Thank you. Thank you for being an inspiration to me, and to many other people in the fandom. I can't wait to watch you kill it on my TV screen. I wish you all the best.
