A mashup pairing name for [[Sam/Castiel]] which originated in [[Mishaland]], and is largely confined to [http://community.livejournal.com/sassy_otp/profile Sassy_OTP] - community for all things [[Sam/Castiel]] which delights in [[Crack]], but also features fanart and fanfiction dedicated to stories about the pair.
In comparison with some of the very serious nature of some While [[Dean/CastielDestiel]] or and [[Wincest|Sam/Dean]] shippersare more popular, "Sassy" is generally treated irreverantly. Some would refer Sastiel has a loyal fanbase characterized by a strong sense of community and respectfulness to it as a [[Crack]] pairing, although there is also serious fanfiction featuring the two charactersactors and other ships.
The chibi-esque art of nursethalia become particularly associated with the pairing, particularly the comic [http://nursethalia.livejournal.com/152344.html My Tall Friend, Sam].
