History
Sparkle is a zanna that takes on the form of a half-man, half-unicorn (a manicorn). He was the imaginary friend to a young girl by the name of Maddie Berman in Menomonie, Wisconsin.

11.08 Just My Imagination
A young girl named Maddie Berman is having a tea party with Sparkle while her parents wait for her to finish so they could go to dinner. While Maddie is excited at the prospect of being able to have a tea party forever with Sparkle while her parents eat Cheerios for dinner, Sparkle tells Maddie she should go with her parents. Maddie hugs Sparkle and leaves as he begins cleaning up the tea party. While Sparkle is sitting in Maddie's room reading and waiting for her to come home, he hears a noise outside her bedroom door and assume it to be Maddie. He leaps to his feet and greets her, only to find out it's not Maddie before he is stabbed. When Maddie finally does arrive back home, she is greeted a bloodbath in her bedroom and lets out a terrified scream.
The next day Sully, Sam and Dean arrive at the Berman residence posing as trauma counselors from child services as Maddie had made a 911 call after finding Sparkles' dead body. Mrs. Berman takes Sam and Dean to Maddie's bedroom, in which she will not step foot anymore. Sully teleports into the room and relates to Sam and Dean the horror show that he is looking at, he touches their foreheads and which allows them to see what he sees, which is a glittery bloodbath. When Mrs. Berman returns to the room, she begins walking through the Sparkles' glittery blood, eventually covering her face in it to the shock of Sam, Dean and Sully.
