History
Sheriff Britton is a personal friend of a recently deceased man, Frank O'Brien, whose death Sam and Dean are investigating. The sheriff uses alcohol sanitizing gel after shaking hands this the brothers. Later, he is afraid to see them when they begin investigating Luther Garland's death. He later attacks Dean in desperation, and dies of a heart attack brought on by Ghost Sickness. The sheriff was involved in the cover-up of Luther's death at Frank O'Brien's hands.
