Mirabel was an angel and a member of Castiel's old angel garrison in 1901.

Mirabel's flight is sent to Orono, Maine, to deal with the Nephilim. Under the leadership of Ishim, the angels capture Akobel, accusing the seraph of siring a Nephilim, and as Castiel reads out his crimes, he is stabbed and killed by Mirabel.

2017
After the death of Benjamin, Castiel meets with Mirabel and Ishim at a diner to discuss what has happened. Telling Castiel of the other angel's death, he asks why he wasn't told, only for Mirabel to reply they didn't think he would care, before excusing herself from the table.

Behind the diner, Mirabel is confronted by Lily Sunder and is swiftly stabbed and killed with an angel blade, avenging Akobel's death.
