|Episode(s)||1.05 Bloody Mary|
Donna discovers her father dead, after her sister Lily Shoemaker says "Bloody Mary" three times in front of the bathroom mirror. She then says the invocation herself, which Charlie fears will cause Bloody Mary to attack her.
Donna arrives home past her curfew, when she goes upstairs she sees a pool of blood coming out from under the bathroom door, stops, then starts forward more slowly. She hesitantly pushes open the bathroom door, revealing a great deal more blood, and screams in horror as she finds her father's corpse.
At the wake for her father, Donna and her sister Lily, along with her friends Charlie and Jill are approached by Sam and Dean, who give her their condolences and claim to have worked with her father. When they begin to question the method of his death, Lily tells them that it was her fault for saying "Bloody Mary" three times in the bathroom mirror, but Donna assures her it was not her fault.
When Sam and Dean discover the name Linda Shoemaker and a hand print on the back of the bathroom mirror at the Shoemaker house, they attempt to question Donna about who Linda was. She tells them Linda was her mother and that she accidentally overdosed on sleeping pills, before telling Sam and Dean she wants them out of her house. Later at school Donna questions why Charlie would bring strangers to her house to ask her questions about how her mother died, and is prompted to say "Bloody Mary" three times in front of the bathroom mirror to prove it is all nonsense. Inadvertently setting up Charlie to be killed by the spirit of Mary Worthington.
